It has been a while before getting any news about the long-awaited 1/48th AMK F-14D. The origins of this model kit have been a little rocky but seem like at the end, it has been worth the wait.

Last night, a post on our Facebook Group was made. After contacting the author, the friends over at Fishbone Inc. allowed us to use their sprue pictures to be used on this entry. 10 kits have hit Malaysia and there is currently a build-up log on their Facebook page.

So, if you have been following the development of this model kit, I strongly recommend you to head over the Fishbone Inc. page to see the build progress. Unless otherwise noted, these are production samples and by the look of the pictures below, the AMK F14-D Tomcat kit looks awesome!

With all the challenges and delays, some known e-tailers stopped taking pre-orders for the AMK F-14D/ So for now, the question is, who will have this kit in the USA without to having to resort to the Pacific hub and the expense incurred while at it.

Personally, I most definitely need to lay my hands on one of these.
