This is the new re-release of the Hasegawa Racing 1/24 Figure Set 20295. It could not have come at a better time. This 1/24 figure set comes to populate your diorama needs. It goes like bread and butter with the OMRON Porsche 962C we built a while ago. If you missed that Omron version, you can still get one from your local hobby shop or on-line retailer like Plastic Models. While at Plastic-Models.com you can also check their 1/24 KREMER PORSCHE 962C (spectacular graphics from Kenwood Hi-Fi) or the TRUST PORSCHE 962C also in 1/24.

So there you have it above, 3 different options. The kit comes nicely molded with some notable yet easy to clean mold lines. The way I deal with this is by carefully scrapping those mold lines from the figures with an old dull #11 blade. Then with a brush I soak the area in a gentle scrubbing motion with Tamiya Ultra Thin Cement. The end result is as if the lines were never there. This set comes with vinyl tubing in both, clear and black. Your choice of team member dispensing petrol, a team member with a cleaning rag, changing/holding tire, team member with impact wrench and 2 team members using large lug nut wrenches on the pit stop. You choice of standing with helmet on hand driver and a seated one. Considering the age of this set and the fact that they are not supposed to have any famous driver likeness, the sculpts are very good.
