Bravo 6 and Alpine Figures

We are pleased to present 2 new set of 1/35 resin figures. First is a set if from Alpine Miniatures set 35155 3rd AD ‘Spearhead” #2. This set comes with 2 different heads and the sculpting is as clean and exquisite as our previously reviewed Otto Carius figure. The body has a very casual stance great for different dioramas plus the provided second sculpted head add up to the possibilities. This figure was sculpted by Taesun Harmms.

The second set of figures come from well known Bravo 6 Figures. This is the kit #B6-35044 MACV-SOG (Military Assistance Command-Vietnam Studies & Observations Group) (2). This one is a series of 3 sets hence the number 2 in parenthesis. The sculpting on these figures are absolutely stunning. Every cloth fold, belt, buckle, shoelace, boot soles, boot eyelet is brought to life with incredible detail.

I have been an action figure collector of many subjects for many years and I always felt great respect for Todd McFarlane’s work. If you know his work, you probably know what I mean. The guys behind the Bravo 6 figures are doing a great job sculpting these figures. If this is the output at 1/35th scale, I can only imagine the master sculpts of these figures.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR

Both, the Alpine Miniatures and Bravo 6 figure sets are well worth their respective price tag and I highly recommend them.

My sincere thanks to High Calibre Miniatures for these review samples.
